Defibrillator Manager

The Parish Council are looking for a volunteer who would be willing to look after the defibrillator cabinet and report any usage to the clerk or the requirement for new pads in it so that it can be maintained well and always ready for use if required.

Cardboard collections
We're pleased to confirm that cardboard collections will be returning on a monthly basis from Tuesday 23 June. These collections will alternate fortnightly with the monthly garden waste collections that also returned recently on a monthly basis.

Play Areas in Heather


Please be aware that all play equipment is still out of bounds, as per government guidelines.
It is the risk of catching the virus from touching equipment that means this instruction needs to be adhered to.
This instruction also applies to the multi surface pitch at Swepstone Road and the Youth Shelter.

Closure of Play Areas

Please be aware that, following the Government announcement last night, that we are closing all of our Play areas to the residents of the village. They are Mill Lane Recreation Ground, Swepstone Road Recreation Ground and Belcher Close Play Area. This means that the play equipment is out of bounds, but if anyone is using the area for a walk, be careful that you observe the social distancing rules.... Read More »
